CHIEF TIMOTHY D. GRAY
On April 15th Chief Timothy D. Gray of the Paris Police
Department was presented the Outstanding Leader of the Year Award by Charlotte Pollitt, Secretary/Treasurer of the Paris-Bourbon County
Chamber of Commerce, at the annual Chamber Appreciation Breakfast held at the
Stoner Creek Country Club. She read the following statement; “The
outstanding leader of the year is a man who has stepped up to the plate
numerous times in the last year to make sure our community is a safe place to
live. During the horrible murder of Wesley Mullins, this man worked the entire
time to see the investigation continued. He worked alongside of his men and did
the same work as was required by them. This act served to bring the Police
Department personnel closer together to know that their leader was there for
them. In just the every day activities, this man has his finger on the pulse of
the community and the Police Department. His open door policy has lead to a
more relaxed atmosphere among the personnel of the department. Through his
leadership and the work of the department,
