Chief Tim D. Gray

Chief Timothy D. Gray has been with the Paris Police Department since February 1989 when he started as a part time police officer. Gray was hired into a fulltime position in November 1989, with this assignment effective January 1, 1990. Since then Gray has been promoted to Sergeant, Captain, Major and Chief. Gray is a graduate of the Southern Police Institutes 111th Administrative Officers Course at the University of Louisville. Chief Gray is married with children and resides in Paris.

Administrative Assistant - Lisha C. Barnes

Administrative Assistant, Lisha C. Barnes has been with the Paris Police Department since July 2001 wherein she transferred from the Paris Bourbon County E-911 Telecommunications.  Mrs. Barnes handles the Records Division for the Paris Police Department as well as administrative duties.  Mrs. Barnes is married with children and resides in Paris.

Administrative Assistant - Savanna Pelfrey

Administrative Assistant, Savanna Pelfrey has been with the Paris Police Department full time since February 2008 wherein she transferred from the Paris Bourbon County E-911 Telecommunications.  She worked part time at the Police Department in the Records Division as well as administrative duties prior to her appointment. 

Captain Richard A. Elkin

Captain Richard A. Elkin has been with the Paris Police Department since June 2000.   Captain Elkin transferred from the Lexington Police Department and is a graduate of the Criminal Justice Executive Development Program, class 7.  Captain Elkin is married with children and resides in Millersburg

Lieutenant Chad Fuller

Detective/Lieutenant Chad Fuller has been with the Paris Police Department since October 1994.  Detective/Lieutenant Fuller is married with children and resides in Paris. 

Lieutenant Tony Edmond Asbury

Lieutenant Tony Edmond Asbury, Jr. has been with the Paris Police Department since November 1999.  Lieutenant Asbury transferred from the Bourbon County Sheriff’s Department before he began his employment with the Paris Police Department.  Lieutenant Asbury received the Award of Merit for demonstrated ability of achievement, performing his duties in a manner that has brought high regard to himself and the Paris Police Department.  Lieutenant Asbury is married with children and resides in Paris.

Lieutenant Steven R. Tucker

Lieutenant Steven R. Tucker has been with the Paris Police Department since August 2001.  Lt. Tucker transferred from the Transylvania University.  Lt. Tucker is married with children and resides in Paris.

Lieutenant Michael T. Dempsey

Lt. Michael T. Dempsey has been with the Paris Police Department since July 2001.  Officer Dempsey transferred from the Bourbon County Sheriff's Department before he began his employment with the Paris Police Department.  Officer Dempsey is married with children and resides in Paris.

Lieutenant Myron L. Thomas

Lieutenant Myron L. Thomas is a police officer with the Paris Police Department.  Myron was appointed Lieutenant in October 2006. Lt. Thomas is married with children and resides in Paris. 

Detective Lieutenant Jeffrey L. Lizer

Detective Lieutenant Jeffrey L. Lizer has been with the Paris Police Department since November 1990, serving as a part-time officer prior to that. Detective Lizer was promoted to Lieutenant in February 2008 as Commander of the Detective Bureau. Detective Lizer has children and resides in Paris.
